Nina has performed her songs at venues across the South
of England and continues to appear at clubs, theatres,
charity events and private functions.
She
was given the honour of singing at a British war hero's
funeral at Winchester Cathedral and has since taken a
passionate interest in supporting British troops
including composing a beautifully moving song, “Slow
Down Soldier” performed in support of Help for Heroes.
As well as supporting John Power (The La's/Cast) on two
occasions, she has taken part in the semi-finals of the
BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards 2008/9.

"Slow Down Soldier Now Out in aid of Help
For Heroes"
Last year I wrote the song Slow Down Soldier in an
effort to support our troops. Over the past few
months the single has gathered tremendous support,
not only from The City of Southampton Orchestra who
feature on the record, but also from music producer
Chris Poulter and from Eden Gate Pictures who have
teamed up with company Hive Local to make an
accompanying music video. With everyone dedicating
their time and resources free in support of the
charity, all the money received from sales can go to
Help For Heroes.
I hope that song will promote awareness of the
continuing need to support our forces overseas and
raise much needed money so that the charity can do
as much as possible to support them and their
families on their return."
Thank
you,
Nina

To mix thoughtful and catchy songs with a uniquely

recipe for pop success. But at 21, singer/songwriter
Nina has also shown a mature determination to
achieve an international career
